A road construction machine overturning in Marathounta in Paphos led to 4 workers suffering grievous injuries.
The accident, which took place in the morning hours, happened as a private company?s workers were making road repairs on the vehicle.
Three out of four of the injured suffered lighter injuries as they got out of the overturned machine just in time. The fourth, however, suffered worse injuries as he got trapped within the machine. He had to be freed by the fire department before they were all transported to the hospital for treatment.
The Department of Labour Inspection, the district administration, and, of course, the police have launched their investigation into the matter, which is currently underway.
