ASTRONOMY EVENT POSTPONED DUE TO SPIKE IN COVID-19 CASES

A top astronomy event has been canceled due to a spike in the number of new coronavirus cases.

The event, which was due to be held at the Nicosia town hall, had a lot of preparations done, including arranging special facilities for those who are disabled.

The organizers of the event issued a statement, citing an increased number of COVID-19 cases. The cancellation was made in the interest of public health.
